HOTEL DESCRIPTION
The Maui Prince Hotel rests on a peaceful Hawaiian white-sand beach at the foot of Haleakala, Makena's mountain. The serenity can be felt from the moment a lei of seashells is draped over your shoulders and you are welcomed with the genuine smiles and warm attention of the staff. The resort has no immediate neighbors and is built around an Asian meditation garden with stone paths, quiet corners for contemplation, waterfalls, and streams swarming with brilliant red and gold carp. The roof is the sky. The door of every room opens to this atrium, while the windows and lanai (balcony) look out upon the ocean.
Most people settle into the immediate serenity of the area, and they find themselves sitting beside the pool or on the beach, watching all the little white birds streaming to Molokini. And if the sea is calm, you may hear the great humpback whales singing deep. Guest rooms at the Maui Prince Hotel offer views of an expanse of ocean and the varied beauty of Makena's landscape.
